Social-First Design
Created an experimental carousel design concept for Golf Travel Centre, using a resort image as the primary background and incorporating additional imagery sourced from Unsplash. Edited colour balance, exposure and tonal levels across all images to create a cohesive visual identity and ensure a consistent look and feel throughout the design.
Carousel Design
Created a social media carousel for the Clarion Housing Group as part of a design task, adhering to brand guidelines and sourcing appropriate imagery. Developed the carousel alongside a complementary event poster to create a cohesive campaign promoting a second-hand school uniform shop at Hackney Town Hall. Selected imagery that clearly communicated the campaign's purpose and resonated with the target community audience.
ACG Template Refresh
Redesigned the ACG social media template to align more closely with their brand identity, incorporating shapes and colours inspired by the logo. Enhanced visual impact by enlarging imagery, improving engagement and appeal to the target audience.
Escola Eleva
I created both static and carousel assets for an Open Day campaign for Escola Eleva. For the static piece, I highlighted the date and time to ensure they were the focal point, without placing unnecessary emphasis on the supporting copy.
Using Photoshop, I enhanced the overall imagery by brightening the faces across all photos and applying a subtle dark gradient to improve legibility for the overlaid text. Within the carousel, I selectively enlarged key elements of the copy to draw attention to the most important information and improve the visual hierarchy.
CitySprint Carousel
Created social media content for CitySprint to promote its carbon reduction achievements and sustainability goals. We also support other businesses in meeting their carbon targets by offering a fleet of electric vehicles for same-day and next-day deliveries.
King’s College School La Moraleja
I refreshed the CCL social media template with an image-first approach, ensuring that visuals take centre stage while complementing the overlaid text. Based on performance data, brighter images tend to generate higher click-through rates, so brightness played a key role in the design.
To improve contrast and legibility, I introduced a subtle overlay, allowing the text to stand out without overpowering the image. I used the brand’s signature blue to highlight key elements such as the date and supporting copy, while placing emphasis on ‘Open Day’ as the main focus of the carousel.
